Congrats to your whole Team Pania for being awarded a Dermalogica Platinum Skin Centre! They should all be very proud of themselves.. but this achievement was also due to your own dedication and passion for the industry and to only give nothing but the BEST as you always have over the many years. You totally ‘Rock’ young Lady!! Embrace the accolade as its well deserved.

‘Stephanie Gilchrist’s Fundraising Venture’
On 13 September 2017 I departed Auckland set for Tanzania with a group of 26 New Zealanders to complete a year-long goal to climb Mt Kilimanjaro, the worlds 4th highest mountain as part of a fundraising event for the Mental Health Foundation NZ. The journey for many of us began one year ago when we signed up to take on this challenge with a goal to each raise $4000 for the Mental Health Foundation. The adventure saw us trekking for 7 days through 4 different climatic zones from Alpine moorland to An Antarctic like climate. We began our journey at 1900 meters above sea level and trekked to 5895 meters asl to Uhuru Peak, the highest peak in Africa. The trek for many of us represented the struggles that mental illness presents to many people. We all had a personal reason for doing this trek with some of the trekkers leaving tributes at the top as well as wearing t-shirts to remember those lost to suicide. The trip was symbolic of the highs and lows that people with mental illness are faced with on a daily basis and was a way for us each to show our support and start conversations in our communities to encourage people to speak out and ask for help. Over the last year I raised just over $4500 through bake sales, spending 24 hours on a treadmill, movie nights, raffles, garage sales and general donations and without supportive local businesses like Pania Ryan I could not have achieved this goal. I was lucky enough to have Pania Ryan donate a pamper voucher for my final raffle fundraiser. The voucher was won by my work colleague Renay Mitchell who is very excited to book in her treatment (if she hasn’t already) and who really deserved to win the voucher.
Overall, our group raised $114,000 for the Mental Health Foundation – a massive achievement for a group of everyday kiwis. Throughout the trek we were faced with many challenges from altitude to exhaustion but our whole group made it to the summit which was a fantastic achievement for our guides and group. We never gave up hope that we would reach the summit and even though it was difficult at times we supported each other through and pushed ourselves well out of our comfort zones.
I am definitely looking forward to treating myself to a pamper treatment at some stage soon at Pania Ryan and looking forward to some down time with my family just reconnecting with life and figuring out what my next journey will be.
Thanks so much for your support : ) Look forward to seeing you soon.

On behalf of Campbell Street Kindergarten, we would like to say a big thank you for your generosity towards our recent fundraising event. We had a quiz night in June and the event was a great success. With your help we were able to raise $888.60, to go towards a dry river bed. It is greatly appreciated for our children and for the many more that will come through the doors in years to come. Community support is becoming increasingly more important for Early Childhood Education and we certainly appreciate your willingness to help. Kind regards, Kandus Sherlock (August 2016).

I am writing to let you know what a wonderful experience I had at your salon recently. The therapist was extremely professional and provided me with an excellent service from begining to end. It was the best overall treatment I have ever received, that I will be thoroughly recommending to others. B

I came in for a facial and I have to say it was fantastic!! My therapist took the time out to get to know me and my skin (problem) as she hadn’t seen me before and gave me heaps of good advice and showed me things to do to improve my skin as well – she really knows her stuff. By far the best facial I’ve had ever!! Just thought I’d let you know that the great service is really appreciated. JM
Could you please pass on my sincerest thanks to the lovely lady who gave me, what can only be described as “the best pedicure I’ve ever had in my life”! My goodness, it was absolute bliss, I felt totally indulged. This was my first visit to your business and it was sheer pleasure from the moment I walked in the door!! Thank you all for making my day. Warmest regards. S
